Southland Camping Park, an award winning Park on the Isle of Wight, is situated on the outskirts of the rural village of Newchurch overlooking the Arreton Valley. It is sheltered, well drained and ideal for quiet and peaceful holidays on the Island. The Park has good access and is beautifully landscaped. All pitches are generous, level and individually marked with electric hook-ups. Our modern toilet block, which is maintained to a very high standard, has family baby and disabled facilities. The Park has a small shop, laundry facilities, a children's play area and a recently opened 2 acre conservation and picnic area. We are the winners of the prestigious Calor Best Touring Park England Award and the Toursim South East Awards for Excellence - Caravan Holiday Park of the Year. We can arrange ferry inclusive packages from Southampton, Portsmouth or Lymington and once on the Isle of WIght you will find we are ideally siutated for exploring by foot, bike or car.



Location:

Nowhere is far away from Southland! The Isle of Wight is only 14 miles by 24 miles but over half is designated an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Local to Southland Camping Park is Robin Hill Country Park, Amazon World Zoo, Dinosaur Isle & Sandown Bay with its well known sandy beaches. Osborne House, Queen Victoria's Island Residence & the world famous Needles are a little further away. Nearby are numerous country & coastal walks. Southland itself is easy to find. You leave Newport (the Island's main town) on the A3020 then take the A3056 to Sandown. Approx 6 miles from Newport you will pass the Fighting Cocks Public House on your right. Take the second turning on the left (Winford Road) to Newchurch. Southland is approx 1 mile on the left.
